I don't Care Anymore dont-care-anymore ============================================================================== Influence of Movies and TV movies-and-tv well i watched a movie today and the hero was riding a bike really fast, on an long empty highway. i am about to go back to my home from college and would need a vehicle. i had decided on a scooter based on the milage, cost and luggage capasity, but for a short while i was doubting my choice. entertainment is useless if you don't buy it, if you watch it knowing that you are being manipulated, that whatever is being said or shown is made up and it almost doesn't exist in real life, atleast not like that. letting it influence you has consequences which one might not even be aware of, it conditions you day by day. ============================================================================== Advertisements Everywhere advertisements i also wanted to buy a good badminton racket, and very soon i found myself scrolling through a list of yonex rackets with a starting cost of INR 10K, and going upto INR 20K, i found it highly unreasonible and searched for options. i found some apecs badminton reackets offering really good specs (equivalent to a 15K yonex racket) for INR 2300, and i knew about the quality as some of my friends had that. again i was saved. ============================================================================== I don't Care Anymore dont-care-anymore - avoid sweet and spicy foods, it messes up with the brain, eat plain food - avoid confrontations and ego fights, be nice to everyone when possible - for mundane daily chores, just automate them, engage minimally to get by - have interesting things on your plate to have immediate action items - live in reality, take decisions based on that, not conditioning/feelings - have a boring repetitive routine, a high always falls apart - impressions aren't that important, focus on solid action and results - when in tense situations, move out of it, avoid making statements then - your observations are almost always wrong, specially those about people on one side there is my reality, and on the other side there is the reality of everything else, like someone else's reality, the reality behind some building... one way of living is by livng in the middle of these realities pretending to have figured out both realities, thinking that i understand what's going on. the other way of living is binary, where i know that my reality is very conditioned and far from my actual reality and my observations about the rest of the realities are also just speculations and i actually don't know what's going through the other person's head and what lead them there. the first way is how most of us live, living in assumptions, always bothered by this or that. the other way is very explisit, doesn't take anything at the face value. one livng the second way doesn't assume things, doesn't try to read minds, doesn't pretend things... and doesn't compromise on things. i find the second way very elegant, without any pretence or cleverness. ============================================================================== vim:tw=78:ts=8:ft=help:norl:fdm=marker:fmr=<<<,>>>:ma:noro
