reality-based-plans.txt plans based in reality Author: Sahil Gautam <printfdebugging@gmail.com> Homepage: <https://printfdebugging.in/> License: GNU GPL v2 ============================================================================== Plans Based in Reality the plans should be based in reality. the last time i thought about plans in plans.txt, and ended up listing a lot of things organized in a really "beautiful looking" but impractical/naive way. one cannot plan everything for the next 5 years or 10... you don't know how things will be then. these plans usually last an year or two at best. - crafting interpretrs - structure and interpretation of computer programms - introduction to algorithms/clrs implemented in c - learn opengl - the book of shaders - raytracing weekend series - explore open source opengl projects - vulkan tutorial - kohi game engine once i go through these tutorials/books/projects, i expect to have a decent understanding of computer graphics, ds-algo and language design and i would know what to work on next. maybe i will have some project ideas, or i might want to read some domain specific books to know the details or i might be curious about open source projects... i will see to it then. too much pre-planning creates confusion and adds a lot of overhead to the thought process as then the thought process has to abide by the plan. ============================================================================== vim:tw=78:ts=8:ft=help:norl:fdm=marker:fmr=<<<,>>>:ma:noro
